Hi all,

I am looking for a H323 softphone that runs on Windows Mobile 6. I have a h323 Endpoint license so that should not be a problem. Does any one Know af a softphone that works on the IP office?

Thanks!!

Intrigrant, witch version are you using?
We alse want to use a H323 client for windows mobile 6.

@Spekkert

Windows Mobile 6 is a platform for mobile devices, based on Windows CE 5.0, and used in a wide variety of third party hardware, such as Personal digital assistants (PDAs)

So you should be able to use the link below;

but the last time i tried i couldn't doewload it.

@Base1234,

I tried this one already but not very good results, and it seems the development of this product has stopped. Last update was in 2005. Does anyone know of other product. We are willing to pay for the product!!

@ bas1234

This looks more like a developers kit to me. Does any one know if avaya is developing this kind of pruduct? As I understand it Mitel, Alcatel and Cisco already have a solution for this.

For wat I have heard about the One-X client, its more like a advanced mobile extension, aways with a connection over normal lines.
The advanced features are :
- blf
-directory usage
- call transfer
and more..
But aways over a normal line to the mobile phone, not by Wifi...

mathijs

I doubt that
But if a connection is made by a data connection then it is a big mistake and it will never be a success

one-X Mobile on Symbian and Windows Mobile is being trialed for IPO 4.2. Basically allows a number of preset functions on calls to/from the switch, eg. transfer, DND on off, etc. Obviously works best if used with Mobile Twinning pushing calls to the mobile in the first place.

@Spekkert

It will be released 3Q of this year.

OK, so now we know we hve to wait for a year or so for a solution.
But the mobile OneX solution still isn't a softphone for wifi clients.

Is there anybody with a solution?

mathijs

Avaya Multi Vantage Express, Mitel, M$ OCS, Cisco CM and some more i guess...

NIHIL NOVI SUB SOLE

Or a SOE with a WIFI card?!

OK, so its just not possible with an IPO. Even on a SOE with a WIFI card.

threre is just no client software..
