We have several sites all on Rls 6.0 and a call center located in Phoenix. Problem is when a caller hits the PRI in Phoenix and then transferred via H.323 to Rye NY which voice mail is in Reston VA the caller hears the voice mail greeting and leaves a message and then when you check the messages you have none. Going forward we tested the same call flow with a live person in Reston and it is just dead air on both ends after hearing the ring cycle. We have all 3 systems patched to the latest and greats levels and just wondering if anyone can think of a fix for my lost speech path on VRTK. We can run this same test to our home office in Naples and all works well………Thanks in advance for any help.

This can be caused by the gateway address not being set correctly in the Node information. I have also seen this happen if the codec settings do not match on each end. Protocol level, jitter settings etc..

Check the media security on the trunks too... saw a similar issue on SIP trunks between a 5.0 CS1000E main and 4.5 branch when patching it recently.

Hi justcallmejim,
Did you get a fix for this issue?
I have a similar problem with a Rls 7.5 site, whereby when an H.323 makes an external call there is one-way speech. If an indial call is placed to the H.323 end point there is both-way speech.
I applied the latest patches & loadware this morning and the problem still persists.
Thanks
