H.323 to CME - Problem with getting to CUE

I have been banging my head on this issue for days now. I have a Cisco Call Manager Express system at one of my locations. I have an H.323 connection to it, and I can get calls in and out with no problem. The problem I'm having is when incoming H.323 calls to that CME try to roll to voicemail, I get a reorder tone.

It's weird, because I have another CME out there where everything works fine. I have compared the configs on the two, and I cannot see what I have done incorrectly. Both are connecting through a Cisco Call Manager 4.1, and I have tried the H.323 directly from CME to CME with the same result. Dial Patterns are set up identically.

I only have the issue with H.323 calls going to this site. Users at the site have no issue reaching CUE or reaching voicemail at any other site.

I've looked at debugs, but they aren't telling me anything. The only thing I noticed is on a "Show H323 Gateway," I saw incrementing errors under "H245 Failed." This indicates (to me) an error in call signaling, but I have no idea where the breakdown is occuring.

Below is an excerpt from my running config. Any thoughts?

We had a similar problem and it was a CODEC issue. I didn't work on it directly but something was sending the calls with G.729 CODEC and Unity needed G.711. That's about all I remember.

Off topic, but do you work out of the Irving office, ODannyboy?

I just know a guy that works over there at the Irving office in the VoIP department. By the way, curious about why you guys are connecting a CME to a CallManager, why not use MGCP and let the CallManager control that remote office? If the connection goes down, just have SRST set up so that it will fail over.

Ah. I see. Not trying to be hostile, I just don't who you are.

It's an option for future deployment, but at the moment, business practices make this a better setup. Not ideal, but it gets the job done.

I just need to figure out why I cannot hit that CME's voicemail across the H.323. According to everything I've looked at, it should be working. But it isn't. Any ideas?

First off what version of CUE and router IOS are you running? Could be a simple upgrade if you are running a version with a bug in it. Are both CUE's running same version?

Oh and it is Hooper that I know over there.

Oh, and can you post a couple of the ephone configs?

Just got back to soemone who worked on the problem here. He said he had to set up Transcoders to allow the H.323 calls to be Transcoded to G.711 for CUE.
I don't think we were getting fast busy though, I think we were getting something like 'Invalid number' or Number isn't recognzed. Or something like that.
Not sure this helps. We were dealing with a UC500 but it's the same as CME.

Thanks for the suggestions. As requested:
