I have guest mail boxes that when a room call forwards to it, it transfers to the front desk and won't take a message. The room is checked in. How do I get it to take a message? Mitel Express messenger.

The room may be checked in but is the mailbox? Use a front desk mailbox to check.

What makes you think that you have time to fix it?

Sounds like the PMS-VM interface is down. Call a vacant room to be sure that mailbox is closed, then do a test check-in on that room. If a test call still bounces, the interface is definitely down. Troubleshoot the interface with the PMS Support Desk and be sure they do a database swap to get all the mailboxes to the correct state. You might want to check the PMS-PBX interface, too.

Just to be clear - You require 2 interfaces, 1 for the PBX and 1 for the VM. It is assumed above that the VM interface is down.
