EMC Networker 7.4.x on Solaris 10
Been having this problem for days...
nsrd daemon takes literally hours to startup from nsrexecd
Patched whole system from 7.4.1 to 7.4.2...
No change.
Getting following messages in /nsr/logs/daemon.raw (rendered to text) immediately after running /etc/init.d/networker start :
42506 05/06/09 13:21:08 2 0 0 1 23887 0 bkupsvr nsrd server notice: started
12521 05/06/09 13:21:08 2 0 0 1 23887 0 bkupsvr nsrd FATAL ERROR: GSS Legato: Could not get server credentials from authentication daemon.
12546 05/06/09 13:21:08 2 0 0 1 23887 0 bkupsvr nsrd shutting down
7116 05/06/09 13:21:08 2 0 0 4 23847 0 bkupsvr nsrexecd The user does not have the privileges perform the requested operation. Requester: EMCUserNone/bkupsvr.[DOMAIN]@(Unknown)
I've seen similar but not the SAME issues on other forums. Anyone have a quick answer ?
Thanks In Advance
P.S. I don't have the GST running. I've started nsrd previously without needing GST running. Having problems with GST too - some "dbsrvr9" process sits there and chews up CPU for ages... Do I need to have the GST up and running before I start the nsr services ? I thought GST was just for the Java admin console...
