Hi all,

I intend to use LCR solution for our system. Here is diagram:

When staffs call 9+ client phone number, the call will be route to PSTN.

Now I want to set up new way to call, such as 7 + client number, MXONE TSW will route call to GSM gateway.

PSTN => MXONE => GSM Gateway ( use E1 trunk).

Can I do it? would you please instruct me how to do it? it's just my opinion because I don't have Alex.

Another question: do IPLU of MXONE support SIP ? I intent to connect MXONE TSW with GSM Gateway via IP trunk (SIP).

Thanks for your help

Hi,

Its indeed possible. Each vendor product requires different settings. So basically you need to play with the parameters.
ROCAI / RODAI / RODDI / ROEQI / RODNI etc.

I have used Nokia 32 / ITS with analog FXS connectivity. My parametrs will not help you.

SIP is not available on TSW. You require TSE. But you go for ISDN - SIP gateway on TSW & achieve the similar functionaility. I didn't played with them yet but shouldn't be a problem.

Put more details about your GSM gateway & more will follow.

Cheers,
Navdeep

Yeah, sorry for late reply. Because I have trouble with network, I just can access tek-tips in my home :(.

About GSM Gateway, now it is support 2 methods, connect with MXONE via E1 trunk and IP trunk use H323. But I'm afraid about H323 protocol... As I know, each supplier use H323 protocol for their product only, connect with another product by H323 will have problem :(.

I'll come back with detail about LCR product.

Thanks Sing a lot

Hi bagao!

Can you share the name of the manufacturer of the GSM gateway and the model you are trying to interconnect with TSW?

Hi rfpup,

Right now, I still don't have final decision to choose the manufacturer of GSM gateway.

I'm considering about Teles, Hyper Media and 2N.

Do you intend to use this solution? I think it can save a lot of money.

Can we discuss more about this?

Regards

Hi bagao,

I use this solution but have not tried with IP interface but with ISDN interface it is ok.
When you mention H.323 protocol I was curious to know about the manufacturer because I have not seen to many products with this protocol; I have seen mainly with SIP protocol.

yes Rfpup,

I'm still afraid about H323 protocol, because each manufacturer use " special H323" that couldn't connect stable with different manufacturer.

So what is your using product?
Connect GSM GW via ISDN is stable? I intend to use but I'm afraid about quality of product?

Thanks for your idea.

Hi,

H.323 is being developed, H.323 v7 is the latest version, meanwhile v4 and v2 are in use through TSW (via IPLU and ELU32).
As I said I have not tried interconnection of TSW and GSM gateway via H.323.

If you go towards ISDN I would recommend you the following:

a. PSTN to TSW has to be configured master to slave & TSW to GSM gateway has to be configured master to slave (layer 1&2&3) so ask the provider about it.
b. Calculate well the number of GSM gateways you need based on the volume of calls to be processed in order not to overload the gateways(you may add additional units in the future but the price can be higher when buying less pieces).
c. Check in your market a company which offers good support

You may try different manufacturers for a testing period and then you can decide.
I have chosen 2N.

Good luck!

Thanks Rfpup,

I'll try. Last time I already update TSW to SP07. hope it have H323 v7 as you said.

Thanks a lot, I'll come back this topic to talk more about configuration, and quality of LCR product, I think it can our job .

Hi rfpup,

Maybe I ask this question is not good? but I think I just a beginner with MXONE TSW. So I'm not quite confidence .

We decided choose 2N, and we just have 80 days for testing include shipping days. So I want to decrease minimum time for preparation.

Would you please help me to post configuration of TLU76 when it connect to 2N product? Just a simple with one prefix code like 123. When Agents call 9123 it will auto route to 2N.

One more question, can we configure LCR apply for one or two group? because in the first time we just buy 30 channels, and I intend to use for Call Centre (about 70 agents) not use for office? can we do it?

THanks in advanced.
bagao

Hi bagao!

As you are asking me I am answering but if someone else has any other idea every one may feel free to contribute/improve the configuration.

I use the gateway with TLU 79 but I am sending you the following parameters for a PRI connection towards gateway using TLU76. In this case PBX will be master and the gateway will be slave.

So your steps need to be the following: (Physical connection between TLU76 and gateway is supposed to be finished)

ROCAI:ROU=101,...

RODAI:ROU=101,...

ROEQI:ROU=101,....

RODDI:ROU=101,DEST=123,....
(you may use other route number and destination number as well)

hi rfpup,
Thanks so much for your reply.
As your configuration:
roddp:dest=00;EXTERNAL DESTINATION ROUTE DATA
DEST DRN ROU CHO CUST ADC TRC SRT NUMACK PRE
123 101 000500010000025010000000000 0 4 0
When we want to switch the call to 2N we will call 123 + client's number.
But my case is different, maybe my english is not well, so I can't explain for you to understand clearly.
For example:
Currently, we have 3 ISDN , when 2 for Call Center,1 for office. All users want to make call outside should do like this: press 9+ external number.
Now we intend to use 2N, and I just want to apply this to Call Center. Call Center agent will use 9 to make call outside as normally, but we will configure to automatically route to 2N with mobile number, and route to ISDN line when the external call is long fixed number.
Can we do that? LCR can help me to do it?
Please give me your suggestion.
Thanks a lot everybody for your any idea.

Hi Bagao,

I understood your point.
I have not any experience with LCR in TSW, for that I have to read Alex in order to give you some configurations.
Meanwhile, try to read any article in this forum by searching LCR.
I do hope other members will help you as well.

yes, rfpup

I'm studying from Alex, hope I can do it.

I hope receive good advice from you and other members

Thanks a lot everybody,
bagao

Hi rfpup,

I came back with some issues with configuration for MXONE TSW and GSM gateway.

I configure as your suggestion , but when I press DEST code , phone display LINE BLOCKED.

When I connect MXONE with 2N GSMGW, light layer 1 and 2 of 2N is green. It mean cable is ok. I think problem is configuration of MXONE.

Would you please give some suggestion in this case? which's parameter to set TLU76 as master.

Thanks a lot

which product of 2N have you bought?
I had a story with one of their products which had E1 interface, I do not remember the name now, they had included SIP trunk license inside the product but not PRI license.
You may check that in the lowest part of the GUI of the 2N software, where you can see version of firmware and BIOS of the product or via tracing through 2N software.

I have used normal PSTN parameters of PRI link but the PBX is master and 2N is slave (D4 of SERV I think makes the difference, I have not alex with me in my laptop in these moments)

You need also to check Tx and Rx of 2N because they are different when 2N is master and when it is slave.

D3 of SERV I think need to be 4 or 3 but you have to check it in Alex

Hi rfpup,

I bought 2N StarGate, in demo phase , I just order 2GSM module with 4 channels.

I checked document of 2N, default PRI board they set first PRI is TE/Slave.

About MXONE TSW, do I just need to change D3 of SERV only? I bought TLU76 with normal licenses ( i mean license for TLU76 connect with Service provider ). Did I buy wrong licenses? I'm worry about licenses :(

I'll try again with D3 of SERV,

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi rfpup,

I found on ALex, D3 of SERV have 2 value:
- 0= trunk line= direct indialling/manual lines
- 1= tie line.

Honestly, I don't understand if, I'm start to learn about MXONE.

Please give me your advice, because 2N just give us 30days for demo, if we can't test it in this time, we can't use GSM gateway :(.

Thanks a lot

Hi Arthur,

I am sorry for my not-correct post.
Please check D3 of VARO.

D3 of SERV need to be 0 which means trunk line=direct indialling/manual lines .

If you have already a PRI connection towards the PSTN consult its parameters and the main change will be D3 of VARO.
The licenses you have bought are correct, the only thing is the connection have to be PSTN (master) - > MXone (slave) and MXone (master) -> 2N (slave).

Try that first.
