We are using GroupWise 5.5 and many of our users have shared folders they use for team projects. The problem we are running into is archiving. If an owner of a shared folder has an archive setting of 30 days or more, the other shared folder recipients loose access to these messages. Other than changing the owner's environment setting on archive, does anyone have ideas on how to get around this? Is it possible to just set up an archive setting for one folder??

Thanks,

My approach is to archive manually and write a rule for each of my folders. To my knowledge there is no other way in GW55 to control archiving for separate folders without changing the environment setting. This uses the open folder event with the archive action.

Thanks for your response. What type of rule are you using? My boss and I have been trying to work on a rule, but haven't had any success.
