GroupWise 5.5 Client, GroupWise 6 Post Office (upgrading client beginning of May)

User is getting the following errors when logging into GroupWise:
Address book component could not be loaded
Attachment control interface version does not match

Seems to have mail and address book listings.

Here are the steps I have taken so far:
1. I "cleaned" his machine of his GroupWise, reinistalled WMS and GroupWise 5.5. Still getting the error.

2. Checking Novell site, found expertise indicating it was related to not being logged in correctly
( I logged in using my ID. Still getting the error (therefore workstation specific, not related to user).

3. Checked Novell site again, found expertise indicating it was related to a missing Windows\temp directory.
Checked his system, temp directory there. I renamed it and created a new one. Rebooted, retried, still got the error.

Any thoughts or advice?

Got it!
I resolved this issue with a simple workaround.
I did a workstation installation first, verified that worked that way and then did a second standard installation. It worked!
