Groupshield wont Update for second time 1

So my problem is the following.We have a win 2000 server with groupshield 6.0 on it, then there is another win 2000 server with the mcafee autoupdate architect.We download the DAT's with the architect and then pick the newest files from this server.
We start the update process on the groupshield and the first time it works without any problems, but then we try a second time and it wont work! We dont know why. We tried this several times, but it doesnt help.

Do anybody know an answer for that or has an idea? Would be very helpful.

What is the error you're getting or are you getting one?

I don't have that version but the older versions of GroupShield would sometimes show an error after the first update until there was a new dat to apply. One of the patches finally got it to say no update to apply.

I click the update butten and the comes the message: "The task startet successfully." But then i click the event butten and there stands: "Update not found".
So the DATs are still from Date 30.06.04.

Then I set up a testserver and there it works. There it finds the newer versions no problem.

I know that when I try to update with the same file that is in use, that it stands "Update not found".

So i cant understand why it cant read the new DAT files.
