hello sco fans..

I have made a boo boo. I copied the contents of another sco 5.0.6 system passwd and group file, i left all the system users alone. this worked ok but now i get an error when logging as a user who belongs to 10 groups. the error stops the user from belonging to all of the groups, here is the error below:

# su - low
Last successful real login for low: Fri Oct 10 15:53:22 2003 on ttyp3
Last unsuccessful real login for low: Thu Oct 09 12:11:49 2003 on ttyp2
Warning: supplemental group list full, group olsec not added
Warning: supplemental group list full, group OLadrght not added
Warning: supplemental group list full, group OLlocmod not added
$ exit
I have combed the file there is no more than 10 groups! is there some other files that are effected...?

Have you rebooted the system since the change of the passwd and group files ?

Yes several times.. It doesn't seem to have made a difference. I also tried the script, grpck in the etc directory. I checks the file and comes back with it being fine excpet for a few null users.

Do a
Code:
 man authck
and see if it make sense for your problem.
