I have an issue with graphing line charts to the status' of open closed and remaining tickets for crystal reports running against a sql server environment. Currently the status of the tickets are (new, assigned, proposed solution, resolved, work in progress, closed) and I need to put these in 3 different groupings(open closed remaining). I have tried the specified order and creating formulas but both are not working. The issue is that closed = (resolved, closed) and remaining = (new, assigned, proposed solution, work in progress) and open = create date is in specified time frame. The line graph I need to build needs has an x axis of the last 12 weeks by the lastfullweek and a y axis of the number of tickets opened by status. Any ideas on how to get the status where one is a count of all and the other are groupings of current status'? I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.
