Grouping and Substrings

After grouping or sorting a column of data the results of a substring calculation in another column are lost....

Why???????????

hi jezmondo,

It s a bit funny how this thing work... but the fact is, your grouping may affect the output, depending on the sequence you selected your columns while creating the report... what you can do is, select the columns in a different order... I'm not sure if there is any specific order that you should follow... but you can always try a few...
