Group Summary In the Group Header

Is it possible to have a record count in the group header, i.e.

Group 1 (15 Records)
1
2
3
...
15

Group 2 (34 Records)
etc

From my understanding the group header only has knowledge of the first record

I beleve you can select a field in your detail section and then right click/insert/summary. In the "calculate this summary" box select count. Then select the appropriate group (group 1 in your example above). This will place the count summary in the group footer. Drag it to the group header.
