I have created a financial statement that spans multiple pages for grouped records, I have suppressed the page header a and added page header b and suppressed these if the report group detail continues onto a new page. When I add a summary amount it is put onto a new page. I want it show the summary after the last detail record in the group. I can't make this happen.

Is your new page before set in your group footer,

or new page after set in your details?

Have you tried

Change group -> keep group together?
because I cannot duplicate your problem

Yes, When I use the expert I can not duplicate the problem but I started the report as a blank report. My though was it was to do with pagination but I am not sure how to change this

Is it happening on all groups, as I can duplicate it on certain data if I adjust the group footer and page footer heights. Also maybe set the "reserve minimum page footer space" in the section properties.

Also I am not sure, but my colleague says he has had problems with free form placements and certain printers, may be you can adjust these or change the printer driver to see if it is the same for another printer.

However, maybe a bit more information about your report would help.

Hi,

I've created a report(*.dsr) and I placed the page number field on the page header. I was just wondering if it's possible to change the section the field is located on the fly(from vb application), lets say from page header to page footer

I'm using CR8.5 and VB6.

Thanks!!
