Is it possible for Group Shield to block or interfer with a group policy? I have created a group policy for tighening up passwords, etc and should have taken affect this morning. It did not and in Alert manager for Group shield I received various weird messages. Are there any known issues out there that relate to that? Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I have never heard of anything like this. Which policies did you apply?

Did you apply the password complexity policy?

Yeah, I created a password complexity GP and applied to the domain. I dont think its Group Shield in any way. I just cant figure out why it stopped working after a few days. What if I have the local policy settings on my workstation set different then the domain GP? Will that cause a conflict?

The domain GPO's will always overide the local GPO's.

Do you have a domain user account that is used by Groupshield?

If so, did you change the password?
