GROUP RINGING

I have 6 sets that I need to ring at the same time when one DN is called. but this should not keep the other DNs busy when one is answered. 4 are 3904 and 2 are analogue (500).

make them mcr;s

you can't keep two number on the analogs but they can all be on outbound calls at the same time.. for an analog mcra in cls.. for digital, key 1 mcr xxxx.. another possiblity would be group call BUT all 4 have to answer each call

I know that MCR will work for keys on the 3900s but I'm not sure on the 500s. MCRA in cls on the 500s might open up that too. If the phones are in close proximity, you can MCR the 3900s and then put all 6 phones into a ring pickup group to cheat for the 500s if we can't make MCR work all the way across. I'm looking at that now and will let you know what I find.

the only catch might be that the dn 4444 could not also be a scr when the chg started.. it has to appear on just the 500 to start the change.. pickup groups and area chimes or ringers work great for that type of app
