Hi,

This is probably an easy question but it's gotten me a little confused. I've applied a group policy to some users. I'm not restricting any registry editing tools. The users are set up as users (Restricted) on their workstations (XP Professional). Some of the users have a program that needs to get into the registry, so is there a way to give these people access to the reigitry entry through the policy.
 
There are registry editing policies.

Disable: Prevent access to registry editing tools
Watch out for the double negative.

In Group Policy, Navigate to the
User Configuration
Windows Component
