Hi,

I am running a 2000 domain and I want to uninstall a product from specific users in the domain by running an exe on shutdown. have set this up via a group policy for the computer configuration. The script runs but when starting the exe, the local machine kills the process. Does anyone have any idea on how to hold the local machines shutdown procedure before the application as finished running.

Cheers

Maybe if you put it in a batch file and before the exe runs you say

shutdown /a (aborts the shutdown)
start program.exe
shutdown -s (start the shutdown again)

Hope this helps

Patrick

Have tried that still the shutdown process continues.
