My network is running on win2k advanced server. I have file server (acting as a primary domain controller) and exchange (enterprise) as a secondary domain controller.
Our event log is filling up with some stupid errors (event 1000 and 1202).
EVENT 1000
“The group policy client side extension Security was passed flags (1&) and
Returned a failure status code of (1332).”

EVENT 1202
“Security policies are propagated with warning 0*534. No mapping between account name and security IDs was done.”

Can somebody tell me what all is about. We are running everything on default security policies and haven’t made any changes recently.

Vanna520,

When you said "Acting like a PDC", does this mean your network is in Mixed mode or Native mode?

Hoping that this could narrow down what may be happening.

Well known problem ;-) : In your Group policy there is defined a permission pointing to a deleted user.
