The user portion of my GPO works, the computer bit does not. I've run gpresult, and apparently the computer is in the BUILTIN\administrators group - and the group doesn't apply the GPO.

I can't see the computer in the group. How did it get there and how do I get it out?

JemimaS,

To move an object within Active Directory, simply right-click it and choose MOVE. Then drop it into whatever container you want it in.

I look in the Builtin\administrator's group, and I do not see the computer. But gpresult thinks it is there.

I can't move it if it isn't there!

...Sorry, I mis-read your post. Have you re-started the computer? As computer specific settings are applied at startup.

Just a thought,

Patty
