When users logon to the SBS server 2003 there is a policy that controls there rights. That is fine, but with a laptop for example when they take them offsite and logon as a local user the domain policy is stil active.
This prevents them from installing programs. They don't like it this way. Is there a way to change this?
The domain policy for local users is administrator.
This is done by a logon script.
When checking under users at the laptop the user has administrator privileges, but they cannot install software. What I like is a setup that when the user logs on as a local laptop user he has all privileges as it was before he joins the domain. Is it possible for not having a policy at all? We use only the local part of the AD, because we are a small company of eight users.
Please help me with this.
Thanks so far,
/Ben
