Hello all,

I have 4 different sets of fields

AHP_Letter1
AHP_Letter2
AHP_Letter3

APP_Letter1
APP_Letter2
APP_Letter3

ABP_Letter1
APP_Letter2
APP_Letter3

ABK_Letter1
ABK_Letter2
ABK_Letter3

Is there a way to read the field name and create a group by the field name?

I am currently using CR v10.

Thanks for any help given

Brian

No.

You must set up groups in advance based on known fields.

Do you mean that you have 4 different fields within a single table, or that the table is changing?

Do you mean 4 different result sets within a field?

Often times people will change which field is grouped by using a parameter, fairly simple stuff.

I suggest that you post technical information:

Crystal version
Database/connectivity used
Example data (show field names AND some data)
Expected output

-k
