i hve crystal reports ver 6. i work in a hospital and i like to do a report that shows the number of patients each physician referes to the hospital for the years 2000 and 2001 seperately. For exapmle
Name of physician 2000 2001
Dr. smith 25 45
Dr. wilson 2
Dr. dubner 5 0

Please help me.

How is the data stored? (SQL tables, ect) Are there any key fields/indexes on the tables? Are you using any stored procedures?
 
The easiest way is to use a CrossTab with
rows being Doctor Name and columns being
the YEAR() of the relevant date column.

Thank you very much for replying. The data is in access with indexes. i am not using any stored procedures. i am new to crystal reports.

yeah! the cross tab report will do the job. Please refer to Crystal Help for the same
