Group by one field, sort by another 2

I have a report which is grouping by a pin number but I need to sort the groups by a specific name field.

Is there a way to do this in CR XI R2?

You could either add a higher order group based on the name field or you could right click and insert a maximum or minimum on the name field in order to activate the group sort function, and then go to report->group sort->all->select "maximum of table.name" as your group sort field, ascending or descending.

I inserted the summary field and used the group sort function just as you mentioned. Works perfectly!
