Group by date field

I am trying to run a Crystal Report 9 grouping by a date field but it is not working. My criteria is to select dates greater than 6/27/04 but it groups 6/28 and 6/29 together

Ok that sounds like a select that you did. that selects the records you want to report on in essence yoiu told CR you want to report on all dates greater than 6/27. Now you need to group them. On 8.5 I go to Insert select group from that menu and then select the field I wish to group on.

Select Insert->Group->select the date field and make sure that the type of group says For Each Day

If you already have the grouping by date, right click it and select change group and set it to for each day.
