I recently got my newletter back from the printer and the mast head logo had a 10% grey backgound box when it looked white in the PDF document and white in the Pagemaker document. How can I make sure it is papgerwhite and does not have a grey box?

I've seen this problem before, and apparently it's a clash between competing color management systems. That's my guess, but I'm not sure. I solved it by re-saving the graphic with a minimum of color management settings.

How is the logo created ie native format?

Thank you for your fast responce.
The graphic is a tiff. I am using Pagemaker 6.5 to do the layout for the newsletter and then exporting as a pdf for the printer.
Yours,
Tom
