i have my recep stations (2616) set to 1100 and 1104, and revert dn 0 goes to 1104. when the recep forwards calls to meridian mail pilot number (4560) it gives a greeting saying business hours. but when I check the MM no vmail box exists for 1100 or 1104. where is this greeting and how can I add a 2nd greeting or change it.

What would you like to happen when the recep forwards a call to vm? What should the caller get.

i figured it out. it was an Announcement segment that has to be access throught the maintenace prompt of MM

your right, both mm and cp check the vsdn table before looking for a box.. in a case were you need both.. a menu and a voice mailbox in ext 1000.. from the menu you need an option to leave a msg, then use express mail to 1000.. comes in handy. my phone gives the caller an option, call the help desk if you don't have a ticket number, press a key for another tech or to page the on call tech.. or press 9 to leave a msg.. most callers here the greeting, press the 9.. (i type a lot when i'm bored)
