If I don't record a greeting in AA and then assign the greting to a table that points to CCR tree 1 will the home menu play as soon as the call is forwarded to the voicemail system.

No the CCR tree will take over the AA Menu prompts.

wh dont u put a part of the greeting in hte greeting and part in ccr home?

senk1s is right.

The proper way to do it is split greeting. That way you can have different opening greetings (day/night) on the same ccr tree. Another reason for this is anyone returning to the AA they won't hear whole greeting again just the instruction because on return you start at the CCR not a grting.

Grting 1: "Hello thanks for calling ABC company"

Grting 2: "Hello thanks for calling ABC company office is closed"

CCR or Table grting: "if you know the ext.... etc"

Table 1: Day/Aftnoon/Eve Grting 1, Non bus grting 2, CCR tree enabled/disabled
