We went from an old KXT system to a Nortel MICS (latest version) With the old KXT we would just change the system greeting and leave the menu alone.

How can we put up a message saying we are closed due to weather without having to record the whole menu again?

Thanks,

Eric

your vm system is probably a CallPilot

Change the greeting only (numbered 1 through 40)
Do not change the CCR Menu options

I'm assuming you are using CCR and menu options are recorded separately from the greeting. If not thats what u need to do

We are using a call pilot 150.

Currently this is our setup:

We have a CCR 1 tree with all the options
AA picks up all 6 lines plays greeting 1 and then CCR 1.

We have no greeting 1 recorded. Could we just record that when there is a snow day and then delete when it's not needed?

Is that possible? Can you do that remotely/off site

Record a snow message like # 25 place in non business portion of VM table.
Whe your company is closed because of snow change to "business closed" option in F982 section........
Remember to change back for return to business.
