what is the best way to knock out the greenscreen in after effect when i didn't have even lighting for original footage? please help!!

If your shot wasn't properly lit, you'll probably have a hard time keying out different parts of the green color. Even light is simply the best cure against green fringes. Before you start overusing the matte chocker or masking, try stacking the color keyer a few times with subtle settings and each layer removing specific areas of the green background. This might get you somewhere. I recently saw a link on the front page of to a shareware keying-plugin which presumably worked with a range of colors. It might be worth a try.

That is the way if you can't pay or find some plugins.
But if you can find for exemple Ultimate plugin for AE
that is the best sollution for that job.

And other way it is that before you do something
you can ouse Image controle/Media filter to reduce a little bit
a shadows od the green background bay masking a that place of area with a background layer.
it is interesting way to do that job.
If you have problems with that you can replay again where are you stuck.

Hi ya...Well to get rid of the greens if u have access to ultimatte or boris or even AE Producton Bundle or Puffin COmposite wizard, it will be really quite easy. But if you have none of this then u have to resort to masking and try to hide away the green with solid backgrounds..mail me at sathya_80@yahoo.com if you need more help
