Anyone know where I can foward the GRE 47 on a Cisco pipeline 50 router?
I have been trying to setup a vpn but cant find it in the router.
I also read that you need the IPSEC enabled, but can not find this either on the router.

Thanks

Uh, I believe it is a LUCENT Pipeline 50.

GRE 47 port forwarding is accomplished using the tunnel server parameter in the Ethernet > NAT menu. Set the tunnel server to be the IP address of the workstation running PPTP. Remember also that you need to create a static map for TCP port 1723 as well.

You do NOT need IPsec enabled to allow PPTP passthrough. IPSec option is for using IPSec (makes sense doesn't it). This allows the Pipeline to become an IPSec tunnel endpoint. Note this does not allow IPSec passthrough as this is not supported on Pipelines.

Thank, i need to download the update for the router
