Grayed-out thumbnails

Hi there....

I have a website with various links to PDF documents. When I click on a link, Acrobat opens and the document is displayed. However, the thumbnails are grayed-out....they still work when clicked on (they jump you to the appropriate page), but they do not give the graphical representation of the various pages. The thumbnails work perfectly when the original pdf document is opened (via Acrobat rather than the web). Any thoughts - I'm sure it's just a setting or something??

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!!

if using Distiller, make sure the "embed thumbnails" option (on the general tab of job options) is checked. also, you might want to have the optimize for fast web view checked also.

just note that embedding thumbnails will increase the file size a bit.
