I'm new to InDesign as well as this forum. I'm an old PageMaker, Quark user so indulge my ignorance, please.
When I bring in a graphic .eps file from Illustrator, or just use the text tool in InDesign, the bounding box or border around those elements are perfectly aligned with the graphic/text. Then after several moments working in the file, or closing the file and reopening, the border is offset from the graphic or text element about 1/4" to the right, and about 1/16" below.
It seems to print just fine, but on the screen I can't resize correctly or place elements correctly because the onscreen image is offset.
Has anyone else had any problems with this?
I also have problems with my refresh/redraw (which may be associated to the other problem, I don't know). I make a move on my screen and the images that I have set to Display Performance/High Quality Display appear rasterized terribly with even gaps in the image until I refresh or enlarge and decrease the size.
I'd appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanx.
