graded backgrounds? and virt2001 how do you do the 3D?

Hi people,

I think this is probably a fairly dumb question!
but I can't find anywhere that answers it!

I was wondering if you could change the background to a graded one in the movie menu? I currently just stick a graded rectangle over it, but I was wondering if this was possible?

Also, virt2001, I just checked out your endangered graphics home page, (really cute by the way) and I was wondering how you made the 3D woman?? what software did you use?

no there is no way to add a gradient to the background except the way you are doing it..as far as how did i do the chick on my site well it is a combonation of poser, bryce 4, and photoshop..created the body in poser..save as obj. file and transport to bryce..in bryce i add the texture and finish up in photoshop..thats it..

and when you say that it's cute i hoping that is a good thing..like good or cool..not like cute as in elementary or shirly temple?

Are there any good web pages where u can get brace 4 tutorials which will teach u the basics..what do u save the pic in the background of your web as before importing it into flash

umm.. not sure but there are heaps of books.. if you want to find tutorials, just go to a search engine (altavista.com or megago.com i use most..... or a graphics-specific one...) and search "bryce tutorials" and heaps come up ^-^
