I am for the first time on my network begin to use GPOs in regards to domain administration. Where is the best place to learn from the beginning how to work with GPOs?

Any help is appreciated,

Aaron

I too, am new at this. I took an AD class. Another suggestion which I found useful The W2003 AD book.

Happy GP's

Yeah I haven't gotten too far into it yet but I have the MS Press Windows 2003 Administrators Companion. Just wondered is there was any books or articles that focused primarily on GPO's that started from a newbie prospective. I'm sure I could learn more about AD as well but I have a handle on it for most the things I have to manage atm. There is always more to learn. I'm going to have to break down and read this gargantuan book =P

Thanks,

Aaron

best place

look at the group policy help file

gp.chm

administrators companion is for generalized administration, and most of the books are out of date

what in particular are you wanting to know?

troubleshooting gp application (userenv, scecli, fdeploy, etc.), gp design, ??????
