Hello,

Just after picking someone's brain, i want to shutdown 20\30 xp machines at a set time, is there a GPO that i can use, or is it a case of setting up the scheduled task myself then using GP to stop the using from being able to disable it?




If you try to fail, and succeed, which have you done?

I would simply shut them down using a vbscript from an admin workstation.

Or you could use psshutdown and run that via a scheduled task on an admin PC
