How do i remove the GoZilla browser integration dll (GoIEHlp.dll).
When i try to remove it i get the file in use message but this happens even with everything closed.

Lost!

heh

Got rid of the registry entries, the dll is still in use for something so maybe it's just booted as a windows standard.
But after removing the reg entry it removed actual integration and now my dls work normally, so for the file i guess it's ms dos boot disk and do it manually that way.

but for now i am happy

Thanks :D

If Go!Zilla v3.5 or below is installed, run Program Files>>Go!Zilla>>Unwise.exe.

If Go!Zilla v3.9 or above is installed, click Start>>All Programs>>Go!Zilla>>Uninstall.

That may not get everything. Right click on the Windows Start button and click Explore. Click Program Files. Delete the Go!Zilla folder’s contents.

You may not be able to delete a file named GoIEHlp.dll.

If not, make note of where the file is located. Restart your computer in Safe Mode. To do so, restart your computer. As it reboots, hold down the F8 button. Using your arrow keys, highlight “Safe Mode with Command prompt.” Press Enter. Highlight Microsoft Windows XP (Home or Professional).” Press Enter.

A DOS screen will appear with a command prompt (C:\). If there are any words after the command prompt, type CD\ at the end and press Enter. That should give you a clean command prompt.

If you installed Go!Zilla with the recommended settings, follow these directions for deleting the GoIEHlp.dll file:
At the command prompt, type “cd program files” (without the quotation marks).

At the next command prompt, type “cd go!zilla” (no quotes).

At the next command prompt, type “del GoIEHlp.dll” (no quotes).

Restart your computer. Go back into Windows Explorer and delete the empty Go!Zilla folder.

Go!Zilla v4.11 automatically installs a program called Smart Explorer. To uninstall Smart Explorer, click Start>>Program Files>>Smart Explorer>>Uninstall.

After Smart Explorer is uninstalled, right click on Start to get to Windows Explorer. Go to Program Files and delete the Smart Explorer folder and all of its contents. You may also have to restart your computer to free yourself of this thing.

Next, run Ad-aware, a free program from Ad-aware removes spyware sometimes installed by programs like Go!Zilla.

If you uninstalled Go!Zilla using some other method, it’s best to reinstall Go!Zilla and then remove it using one of the above methods. For example, if you click Control Panel>>Add or Remove Programs>>Go!Zilla and then click Remove, Go!Zilla will remain in your system. It remains in Program Files and runs in the background of Windows.
