Does anyone know of a way to alter the registry temporarily such that an installed program does not show up on the add/remove programs list in control panel? The program does not have to be operable while the program is being hidden but I don't want to have to uninstall the program.

All the stuff listed in "Add/Remove Programs" is stored under:

Code:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

Delete the key from there and it won't show on the list. Note that this does not remove or uninstall the program, it just takes it off the list.
