We operate a company with a large spread of products held in an XML database....

What we would like to do would be to make sure that when google spiders our website each of the pages that can be generated from our site will be read individually by google

This will help direct customers to the eaxt product they want

For example say we sold eggs we would like to have pages for

eggs chicken
eggs turkey
eggs duck
eggs alligator

or possibly even

eggs chicken brown
eggs chicken white
eggs turkey brown
eggs turkey white
eggs duck blue
eggs duck white
eggs alligator

Is there a practicable way to acheive this?

Thanks

Andrew

I don't think Google will read XML files. Your data would have to be in a series of static HTML files for it to be spidered. Or include your phrases in the meta tags of existing HTML files.

Thanks Chiph

Not the answer I was looking for but thats life!

What I want to do is to get spiders to read the pages and then generate a page for each product we have....

A lot of our customers make very specific searches and the idea is we will generate a very specific page that matches their needs....

Hopefully earning a high google placement ........

Has anyone any suggestions as to how best to acheive this ? (Not necessarily using xml)
