Actually FF3 passes it, and amazingly enough IE8 Beta 2 passes it as well. It seems were getting closer to standardizing the Browsers.

No. I just strongly believe that the web is about shared information, not shared artwork.

I'm surprised they did not try to bundle Google Toolbar with it and install it on their browser a long with the other 3 on my system. It seems every piece of software these days comes bundled with a Google toolbar. Gets very annoying. but I guess they think their own product doesn't need their enhancements.
I think they excluded it because their toolbar slows down the browser drastically. I use FF and I notice that google toolbar really takes a toll on processing time. If I am developing off line, I get all sorts of JS errors produced by it.

Oh so its o.k to slow down other company's browsers but not their own. Now that's funny Ha!. :)

Just kidding, but you really made them out to be the worst of the worst ha ha!. :p

Well, there are a couple of things that bother me
1) I think it is intrusive in that it hogs your browser thus affecting its performance
2) I hate the background color on fields it suggests to help you populate - They should provide means to disable such behavior through programming code ...

As a developer, I hate to see my application take too long to do something I know should be a quick flash. Take google out and performance is par with expectations. I love FF but it appears that they decided to force google on you and it keeps coming back even after you remove it.

I agree, I agree, the toolbar is completely obnoxious. Though I've never had it come back on its own.

I just removed it, lets see what happens. I think it came back without my noticing while running one of the self-installed upgrades. In other words, when FF upgrades it brings it back.
