Hi everyone.
I found a really good anti virus softare which is for free on the last day. I just thought, i'm going to need a firewall now too!

So i searched the internet and finally found a free and popular one, which is from:
Well, its a pretty much automatic firewall. What i need is an advanced firewall, where i can type the ports in, which i want to have opend and every other ports are closed.

Is this possible with zonelabs? or does anyone know a good solution for this?
thanks alot!

How are you on Linux?

There is a gret full-firewall with lots of Features called smoothwall, you can download an ISO, burn to CD and boot from it to install. The hardware requirements are very low but be warned, it wipes the contents of the hard disk before installing.

Try it out,

Spend the $25 and get TrendOffice's PcCillin. AV and firewall in one, along with spam and trojan detection. Very configurable also.

lukelukeluke,

You may want to go back and check out zonelabs website again. Not only do they offer a free version of their firewall but also some other versions with more capabilities. They cost money, but the ones I saw have free 30-day trial versions available for downloading. One of these may be what you are looking for.
