Does anyone have a good cheap call accounting software for a multi-site on IPO R6? I love CallSweet from Datel, but it's not cheap. Any alternatives?

Good and cheap don't often go hand in hand, especially in such specific areas as call accounting/logging, TIM plus/Pro are good but couldn't tell you the price :)

ACSS Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Communications

I've just bought a brand new car and on the way out of the dealership the engine seized, they want £2000 paid in advance to look at it which they will keep if they can find a way to blame me for it......Remind you of anything :)

Perhaps OAK Aioffice ???

I suggest you use google and search for the diverse commercial apps available and ask them for prices and examples, often they offer limited trial versions.
Most of the commercial apps can fulfill your needs for call accounting, some are better in creating reports as others and some can handle SCN environments better.
I prefer webbased reporting, then you don't need to install software on client pc's.

Call Avaya, costs only €400 per hour, you must buy at least five hours.
But then you can talk to a REAL expert....
Now that is what i call support.

I have talked to about 10 different call accounting companies. All of them say they have a great product, but i was asking here to get some opinions and find out what others are using. And what to stay away from. thanks for your help.

We use AIOffice and Ringmaster, both are good but never cheap and not without a reason.

AIOffice works good, they call it "Report" now a days.
Have a look here and try it yourself for 30 days.

Another vote for Oaks Report software (formerly AIOffice). It is simple to setup and handles multiple sites easily and the support team are usually very very good.

I know what you mean HSM, we stopped using them as after five minutes of using the software I knew more than their support team did, they may have improved since though, that was a couple of years ago :)

ACSS (SME)
APSS (SME)

Ive only been using them for 18months to 2 years and everytime I have had to call them for something they have been able to resolve it very quickly.

Now that Delta server is gone with R6. I needed a replacement for my upgrade customers that liked the free Delta server reports. That is the source of my question.

I have heard of some basic software that will do basic call accounting like Delta Server.

I guess I will stick with CallSweet from Datel. They use a SQL DB so I can at least use it for CRM integrations later on.

You still can send SMDR to a pc or server.
You only need a free app that reads it.

At a risk of self promotion :) We've written our own call acocunting software for the IPO, based on PHP and mySQL. Works well. I don't think I want the headache of competing with existing systems, however I am considering making it open source.
What are your opinions on that? Would any of you, "take a risk" on open source call accounting software?
