Would appreciate suggestions for a good reference book for writing VBA code in Access which manipulates Excel objects.

(not looking for a book for writing VBA WITHIN Excel)

Thx

The advise I would give – open Excel, start macro recording, do what you need to have done, stop recording, look at the code created by Excel (Alt-F11). Modify if needed, copy / paste to Access (with reference to Excel).

If any problems - ask here at TT :)

Have fun.

I do that, too. Thanks Andy.

Would still the book suggestion ... :)

To my knowledge, there are no books expressly written for one application that give assistance with writing code in another appliaction. There may be scattered examples.

If you want to write Excel VBA, then you need an Excel VBA reference book!
With that knowledge and a bit of expert TT help, you can write Excel code in any other application.

The additional things to know are related to creating or getting the other application object and manipulating THAT application's object model within the host application.

Hi Skip,

Yes, I know this. Am looking for a specific title/author.
