GoldMine Sync 1

Hi Guys

Is their any reason someone would be ablt to retrieve from the server but not send to the server from a laptop when syhnchronising. Have checked the setting on the sync profile and have made sure that they can send and retrieve. Have deleted the sync profile and re-created on local and server however still having same problem. Any advice?
 
What problem are they having? Is there any error message presented? Are there any red or yellow line items in the process monitor during sync?

I have just had connection to both the desktop machine and the server. I added a contact on the desktop machine and when I synced this showed in the goldsync process on the server as succesfull. Hwver when logging nto GoldMine on the server the new contact was not showing.
 
then my guess is that either the sync settings on one side or the other are not properly set or the contact record's ownership/curtaining levels prevent one or the other of you from seeing that record.

FYI, GoldSync is only sold through GoldSync certified GoldMine resellers for this very reason -- there are hundreds of options and possibly millions of possible combinations of them... It's very easy to get over your head with it very quickly.
