We are having problems getting a backup of our entire GoldMine system. It is GM 5.7 running on a Windows 2000 server.
The problem stems from user sessions not releasing the GoldMine files in order to allow the backup software (NTBACKUP) to access them.
I have tried using the auto logoff feature in Goldmine, but it does not appear to work. The only successful backup we have gotten required that I manually disconnect all of the user sessions by accessing them through the OS. This is not a viable option.
If anyone knows a solution to our problem or knows of another software package that has a GoldMine agent that will alleviate the problem.
Thanks,
BSV
