Goldmine 8.5 look up using F2

I've been told by an expert that there is no way to turn off the little arrow for fields that are Not lookups.
It confuses the Sales Dudes..
Anyone?

Interesting, I do have the 'Hackers Guide' for either 6.7 or 7 and no help in there for this issue. I'd better go get the 'guide' for Premium, just in case.
