Hello,
I'm running Goldmine 6.5 on our network. Our server is Windows Server 2008 and we have a variety of desktop operating systems. All network is within building i.e. no remote usage. Desktops have local connection file, desktops run either Vista, Windows 7 or XP. We run the exe file in XP compatibility mode if on Vista or W7.
When a user enters notes in the pending call, then attempts to complete the call back and schedule follow up call, it freezes AND ALL other 8 users are frozen out too. Task manager is needed to re login.
The main issue seems to be caused by one Windows7 user, though we have other W7 uses with no issues. We have a suspicion that its something to do with Windows security settings as the desktops that "work" have more permission settings, but its not working on the W7 desktop. It works fine for me on Vista, so I think its a Windows setting that needs looking at, but which one?
I am running out of ideas. Has anyone had this problem before?
Goldmine as a CRM has been excellent for years and I really don't want to upgrade to Premium, but this is something that I can't fix or work out.
Thanks,
Mark
