Going from IP office 403 to IP500 for the first time

Hi
Wondering if there is any documentation on going from IP403 controller to a IP500. Can you upload a backup or do you have to reprogram system? any help would be great.

I personaly would reprogram te system
There are a lot of changes
You could export users,extensions, shortcodes,iproutes,licenses and incoming call routes etc etc

coming from lower then 4.x needs some times to set the system up the right way because of ARS and the secondairy dialtone that is changed

i agree with tlpeter (for a change )

Just do a retype. It will save you time and potential issues in the long run. If it's a 403, then the config can't be that big.
