glyphs nested style sheet problem CS2

enter a glyph - make character style
make a paragraph style - make nested style sheet with character style above.
Problem - glyph keeps changing according to whatever letter is typed - original glyph from character style doesnt show up.

If I make a character style with a glyph and try to apply that
character style to any other text the same thing happens.

Please advise - thanks

I think I know what's going wrong...

A character style doesn't mean that it will use the actual character... It only will apply the settings to the copy as indicated in your nested style sheet.

So in order for the Glyph to appear correctly, you'll have to add that character in fornt of the existing copy...

I'm not sure if this is clear, but let me know if not and I'll try again...
