Hey guys. Im definitely not an Exchange guru of any sort. Is there any way to set up a global email rule in Exchange? So basically what I want to do is have any email from xxxx@test.com to go to a distribution list.

If you can help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Where is "test.com"? The answer is different depending on if someone on the outside is sending to xxx@test.com and you want that to go to a DG or if xxx@test.com is one of yours and you want it copied to somewhere when anyone sends As it.

If the SMTP address XXXX@test.com is an internal address you can forward it in Active Directory. On the Exchange General tab there is a button for "Delivery Options". You can enter a distribution group there.

Note the option for delivering to both or just forwarding the mail. You can store a copy in the XXXX mailbox or forward it without saving a copy.

The email will be coming from outside of our network. The email will be coming from Avaya.com. When an email from say css@avaya.com hits our exchange server I want it to go to a certain distribution list.

Thanks for the help!

Exchange won't natively do a catch like that. will do it for you.

Far better, if possible, is to have Avaya send to a specific address in your domain. Is that not an option?
